To overcome this, I’ve focused on consistently demonstrating my expertise through hard work, attention to detail, and strong communication.
Balancing a career is demanding. How do you manage a work-life balance? What strategies have worked well for you?
I manage work-life balance by setting clear boundaries and staying organized with effective time management. Taking time for self-care and unplugging helps me recharge.
How important is mentorship for women in the sports industry? Have you had mentors or role models who played a significant role in your career and can give some details?
Mentorship is incredibly important for women in the sports industry, it provides guidance, support, and helps navigate challenges in a male-dominated field. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to report to all female bosses who have served as strong mentors and role models. Their leadership taught me the value of resilience, professionalism, and confidence, and they inspired me to grow and take on new challenges with courage. Having those examples has been invaluable to my development and success.

What I enjoy most about working in the sports industry is the energy and excitement that comes with every event, plus the opportunity to connect with diverse clients and teams to create memorable experiences. I also love the fast-paced environment, it keeps me engaged and constantly learning.
The most challenging part is managing unexpected last-minute changes or issues during events, which requires quick thinking and flexibility. Balancing multiple projects at once can also be demanding, but it pushes me to stay organized and focused.
What advice do you have for young women aspiring to build a successful career in the sports industry?
Stay confident in your skills and don’t be afraid to speak up or take on new challenges. Build strong relationships and seek out mentors who can guide and support you.
