What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a woman in the sports business, & how have you overcome them?
I think it would be being heard or asked to provide input. As a young woman in this industry you have to create opportunities for yourself just by adding to the conversation.
Balancing a career is demanding. How do you manage a work-life balance? What strategies have worked well for you?
I try and get what needs to be done during the 9-5 hours understanding that sometimes on few occasions that will be different. I use the weekends and slower days to check in on family and friends and occasionally take a PTO day to catch up on personal life and relax.

In a male-dominated industry, do you feel women are given equal opportunities? What steps do you think can be taken to promote gender equality in the sports industry?
I believe that the improvement is there. Continued steps would be to invite women to the conversation whether its brainstorming, decision making, or feedback. That can help elevate women into growing into their careers and advancing.
What aspects of your work in the sports industry do you enjoy the most? What parts do you find the most challenging ?
I enjoy working interdepartmentally and understanding how each department brings their insight and ideas to create an event or campaign. The part that is most challenging is having the best communication with different type of people.
