Please describe your role & responsibilities at that position?

Oversee business operations, growth management, apparel, events and media.

What did you study in college and how did your educational background shape your career in the sports industry?

I studied Advertising with a concentration in sports, along with a minor in sales. That combination gave me a strong foundation in branding, audience engagement, and storytelling, while also teaching me how to pitch ideas, build partnerships, and generate revenue. Those skills directly shaped my career path and helped me start and grow my sports company. I understood early on how to market a brand, connect with an audience, and turn creative ideas into a real business, which has been essential in the sports industry.

Can you share the key milestones in your career that led you to your current position in the sports industry?

Some of the biggest milestones in my career started with realizing there wasn’t a space in sports that felt like it was truly made for women, so I decided to create it myself. Launching my company and seeing it grow from an idea into a real community was a huge turning point. From there, expanding into live events, digital shows, partnerships, and an internship program were all moments where it really clicked that this was bigger than just content. Each step helped shape my role in the sports industry, not just as a creator, but as a founder focused on building access, representation, and opportunity for women in sports.

What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a woman in the sports business, & how have you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced as a woman in sports business is being underestimated, whether that’s not being taken seriously in rooms, having my ideas questioned, or feeling like I have to prove my credibility over and over again. I’ve also had to navigate building something from scratch in an industry that wasn’t really built with women in mind. I’ve overcome those challenges by staying confident in my vision, doing the work, and letting results speak for themselves. Building a strong community, trusting my instincts, and creating opportunities for other women along the way has been both my motivation and my way of pushing past those barriers.

Balancing a career is demanding. How do you manage a work-life balance? What strategies have worked well for you?

Honestly, it doesn’t always feel like work because I’m really passionate about what I do. That helps a lot. But on a practical level, staying on top of my emails is everything for me. I basically use my inbox as a running to do list. If my email is organized, my brain is organized. That system keeps me from feeling overwhelmed and helps me balance work without it completely taking over my life.

How important is mentorship for women in the sports industry? Have you had mentors or role models who played a significant role in your career and can give some details?

I find new mentors daily. Every woman I meet in this industry is so inspiring. I think we all have such unique stories and I am so honored to be in this space where all these women hold the door open for each other.

In a male-dominated industry, do you feel women are given equal opportunities? What steps do you think can be taken to promote gender equality in the sports industry?

Starting to, this industry improves slowly but change is happening. Leagues putting their money behind creative, inclusive ideas are what will continue to push this industry forward.

What aspects of your work in the sports industry do you enjoy the most? What parts do you find the most challenging ?

I feel like the community is so special, that is the why behind all of what I do. I believe that the challenging parts revolve around the waiting for change to happen in some of these spaces but overall, I see such an effort from many in the growth of sports.

What advice do you have for young women aspiring to build a successful career in the sports industry?

Hold the door open for others, there is plenty of room for everyone. Collaboration over competition.

What is your long-term personal goal that you still want to achieve both business wise and personal?

Long term, business wise, I want to keep scaling my company in a way that creates real opportunities for women in sports and turns it into a lasting, impactful brand. Personally, I want to keep building a life that feels balanced, exciting, and aligned with what makes me and everyone else happy, while still having fun along the way.

Any fun facts or interesting things you’d like the world to learn about you? Favorite food, hobbies, pet peeves, etc.?

I have two dogs; Kodiak and Skylar. They are both rescues and are the best joy to come home to after crazy sports events for work.
